Easiest thing to make! Get your protein and your good fats…Omega-3s!!
- Salmon filet. I buy my salmon at SAMs Club (see picture). They are frozen and individually wrapped. If I had my choice…I would buy fresh, but I do frozen out of convenience!
- Mrs. Dash- Fiesta Lime
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Lightly drizzle pan with EV Olive Oil (or use Misto sprayer or PAM)
Lay thawed filets in pan (durrrrr)
Sprinkle with seasoning. Whatever you like! Mrs Dash (no sodium) comes in soooo many flavors, or you can make up your own selection of herbs…minced garlic…sauteed onion! My mom likes to use onion and garlic. The onion when sauteed gets so sweet and carmelized. I loved it! I didn’t have any at the house, so Mrs. Dash it is!!
Cook in pan at medium heat until light pink and flaky. Don’t overcook or they’ll be dry. Don’t undercook unless you’ve purchased sushi grade salmon!!
That’s it! It’s tomorrow’s lunch with the asparagus spears I roasted last night 🙂 Since I made 2 filets…i’ll save it for another dinner, or throw it cold into a salad for my protein! 😛
