It’s that time of year…break out the grill if you haven’t already been grilling through the winter. I know how you fellas are. You’ll stand out in the snow to grill your steaks! Well…we’re giving the cow a break and using the clucker. Easy italian chicken.
- Chicken Breast (I forgot to snap a pic of the package…but I buy Harvestland boneless chicken breasts at Walmart. No antibiotics, raised cage free, no hormones or steroids added, no yucky sodium loaded “solution” added either. 99% fat free)
- Italian seasoning
- Garlic Powder
- PAM spray or Misto EV Olive Oil
Preheat grill. I like to use a medium heat to cook.
Butterfly your chicken breast. Spray with PAM or EV Olive Oil. Sprinkle with Italian Seasoning, Garlic Powder and Pepper.
Line your dish with tin foil and place chicken breasts in dish. (once you put the chicken on the grill, you can remove the tin foil and continue to use the same dish for the cooked chicken…because you never want to put cooked chicken back in the dish with the yucky juice..that’s like a recipe for disaster!)
Place chicken on grill and grill until there is no pink in the center and chicken temp is 170F. If you are starting to over char the outside…place them on top rack to continue cooking.
Once done…place back in same dish (if you used my tin foil method) 😉 and ta-da….you’re done with the main part of your dish!
I paired with my favorite caprese salad which I showed you how to make the other day!
I pat myself on back and got to grubbin!! ENJOY!
**SN: I dipped my chicken into the balsamic from my caprese. Lovely!!
