Well…I wouldn’t be who I am…if I didn’t have a story.  My story is far more than weight loss success, but for those that are struggling with your weight and think it’s too hard, not possible…take a peek.  Proof is in the pictures!  See Before & Afters.

Various publications of my success story (bodybuilding.com, about-muscle.com, Faith and Fitness Magazine, etc) are under Fitness Links to the lower right of your page.

  1. such an amazing storing, I was wondering how to lose weight while weight training I am 5 feet tall 144 pounds and i have some where around 30% body fat. I workout 4-5 days a week doing cardio for an hour. Please help because now I am starting to lose faith. I am willing to do what it takes to be a slim and trimmed 120 pound by the end of Aug 2012. Do you think this is possible?

  2. Loved your story. Super inspiring, Up-lifting and encouraging to me. As I read your story I could relate in many ways. I am going to give your fitness plan, advise, tips etc. a try. I will keep you posted. Aloha and God Bless…

  3. Great site and an exceptional achievement. Especially considering you are a single mum. WOW. Also hopefully without sounding weird and creepy you look brilliant, to put it lightly. May I ask how long it took you from the 2007 “at my heaviest” picture to when you looked in the mirror one day and said to yourself “wow is that me”. Also did you do this very seriously from day one or was there a gradual increase in training and diet?

Once again you look fantastic and well done, from over the pond in Sydney Australia.

    1. Adam…first accept my apology for responding so late.

Thank you so much for the kind compliments. As for your questions, when I went through my divorce mid 2008 is when I decided to stand firm and make a change. No excuses. I started gradually by cutting out all the unnecessary foods and as I saw the pounds drop, it lit a fire under me to keep going, get back in the gym, push harder and finally live my dream to be a physique competitor. 🙂

  4. Wow, incredible blog format! How lengthy have you ever been
blogging for? you made blogging look easy. The total look of your site is wonderful, as smartly as the content material!

    1. Thank you so much Darla. WordPress (the blog site i’m using) really made it easy to start blogging. I’m pretty passionate about helping people and sharing my food knowledge that it became easy and I actually love doing it (and yes, at first it was a little scary to put myself out there). Many have responded and tried my recipes and given gracious feedback so it confirms to me that i’m doing the right thing. 🙂 Thank you again for the kind words!

  5. Thanks so much for sharing that inispiring story. I am a 39 year young woman with DJD and fibromyalgia. I have been down recently about my health issues and weight. I am not considered overweight but I know that I’m not physically where I need to be. I am at a loss for where to begin. If you have any suggestions that may help, I would be most appreciative. Thanks again! Be blessed!

  6. Please tell me how you did it…how you got rid of the cellulite? You look amazing and that is a problem I am having and I am in my first competition June 1. I just have a little in the back of my legs. Very frustrated.
